The coated positive electrode roll

Type: Continuous rolled materials formed through processes such as drying and rolling
Features: Carbon-coated aluminum foil. This is a key advanced material that introduces a carbon coating layer on the positive electrode current collector aluminum foil. Its purpose is to address the conductive and adhesive bottlenecks on the positive electrode side, thereby significantly enhancing the power density, cycle life, and safety of lithium batteries. It complements the carbon-coated copper foil and jointly drives the boundaries of lithium battery performance.
Description

Key features and functions:

Energy storage: During charging, the active material undergoes lithium extraction; during discharge, lithium is inserted. This is the core of the battery's energy.

Conduction and ion transport: The conductive agent network transmits electrons, and the coating pores store electrolyte and transport lithium ions.

Processing adaptability: After drying, it has some flexibility and can be rapidly rolled (with a compression density increased to 3.2–3.8g/cm³), slit, without tearing or powder shedding.

Interface stability: The coating is strongly bonded to the aluminum foil, resistant to electrolyte corrosion, and does not fall off or bulge during cycling.
